AND JUST LIKE THAT.

Here we go again.

Another regular, shmegular, mundane day.

Your problems are already on standby the moment you open your eyes.

You drag yourself out of bed.

You drag yourself to pray.

Because belief doesn’t come easily.

So you try to hold on to it

…for as long as you can.

You have to wear your belief.

Wear your joy.

Even if, for now, they feel like masks.

Because there’s also a part of you that is shaken. Beaten. Scared.

And then you go on to do the regular things you do.

Expecting nothing particularly different from the day.

And just like that.

The call comes in.

The one that changes the course of your life.

Before you know it, you’re a different person.

In a different place.

Living a different life.

Your entire world has shifted.

You’re living a life you couldn’t have imagined when you woke up that morning.

You realise that the day you thought was just another ordinary day was actually the beginning of the best years of your life.

Maybe that’s how restoration works sometimes.

Maybe it doesn’t always announce itself.

Maybe it arrives quietly.

Hiding inside an ordinary Tuesday, while you’re busy trying to force yourself to believe that better days are still possible.

Maybe, while you’re putting on your belief, God is already putting your life back together.
